Objective: to automate the production of non-woven vacuum cleaner bags
Our client, a world leader in household appliances, needed to automate the production of hygiene products made from non-woven materials. These were vacuum cleaner bags manufactured using ultrasound.
Features of the Automation Machine
The special machine designed in Sophia Antipolis was capable of producing up to 3,500 bags per hour. It performed the following tasks:
- Grabbing the bags
- Ultrasonic welding and rotary drum cutting
- Capping the corks
- Ultrasonic welding of end caps
- Folding
- Stacking before packaging
