Application: packaging for high-end perfumes
The manufacture of this specific packaging for Jean-Charles de Castelbajac perfumes had the particularity of having 4 distinct layers to assemble (PE – polyethylene, PP – polypropylene), while ensuring cushioning of the final product.
Assembly and Finishing Process
The four layers of fabric were assembled in several stages: quilting/unrolling, ultrasonic topstitching to give a red color to the imitation seams, cutting and welding the perimeter, then laying and gluing the entire assembly, and finally cutting out a Velcro strip. This highly precise and aesthetically pleasing manufacturing process took place in the workshops of Grasse, the world capital of perfume.
