Assembly machines and semi-automatic workstations

As a Universal Robots certified integrator, we have, for example, created a production line incorporating 10 cobots. We also work with industrial robots from Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, and Stäubli.

Conveyors, weighing, mixing, filling: we automate the handling of powders, granules or liquids, with associated controls, mainly for our industrial perfumery customers.
The Grasse Valley, an industrial and innovative hub
At ASM, we have the privilege of collaborating closely with several renowned perfumers from the Grasse valley, the world's cradle of perfumery.
Supporting our clients involves developing customized solutions. We collaborate with experienced local metal fabricators specializing in the fabrication of storage structures and fluid transfer systems, including stainless steel tanks and piping. We then integrate all the necessary automation components: agitators, temperature probes, and valves. The entire system is controlled by our PLC-equipped control cabinets.
In perfumery and flavorings, our machines meet specific requirements: precise dosing, materials compatible with raw materials, cleaning between two formulas, ATEX zones for solvents and alcohol, batch traceability.
Our projects in the Alpes-Maritimes
- Automated perfume weighing and mixing line In Grasse, for one of the world's two leading industrial perfume manufacturers, a 24-meter stainless steel line transports drums to a weighing station, four mixing stations, and a receiving station. Four motorized trolleys serve both the new stations and those of the existing line. The installation, designed to eliminate the need to handle heavy drums, was validated by an ergonomist.
- Quilted packaging line for perfumes In the Grasse valley, for Jean-Charles de Castelbajac perfumes, an automated line manufactures high-end packaging by assembling four layers of polyethylene and polypropylene. It performs a series of steps: unrolling and quilting the fabric, ultrasonic topstitching to mimic red stitching, cutting and welding the perimeter, gluing, and then cutting a Velcro strip. All of this is completed in a cycle time of 6 seconds.
- Automated Test Bench for Electrical Modules : In Carros, at a world leader in electrical equipment, a test bench integrated into the production line automatically tests all the electrical characteristics of electric motor drives. The modules are automatically positioned and connected in a single step via a custom-designed multipoint connector. The bench adapts to the customer's numerous product references (more than 40 different versions, identified by QR code), with a fully autonomous cycle time of 2 minutes.
- Assisted handling of aluminum cans For one of France's leading industrial perfume manufacturers, an ergonomic lifting and tilting trolley was installed, allowing operators to effortlessly move and empty containers weighing up to 50 kg. The height is adjustable from 150 mm to 1700 mm via a hand crank, minimizing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Our client secured funding from CARSAT (the French regional health insurance fund) for MSD prevention measures.
