Our client, a leading supplier to the European market for gate hardware on the French Riviera, contacted ASM to design an automated gate testing machine.
Objective: Validate the quality of gate closures
Our client's requirement was to validate the quality of these products by conducting endurance tests on gate closures. Working directly with our client's Quality Department teams, ASM engineers had to consider the requirements related to the product being tested:
- Maneuverability
- Endurance
- Resistance to wind load
Features and Versatility of the Test Portal System
- A test gate with dimensions H 1.80mx W 3.00m
- Embedded masses of up to 200kg to simulate several gate models
- Color touch screen for entering the number of maneuvers to be performed with or without force measurement
- Versatility of the system dynamically managing different models and different loads
