{"id":1836,"date":"2018-03-10T14:31:26","date_gmt":"2018-03-10T12:31:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/asm.robin-druel.com\/realisations\/.html"},"modified":"2026-01-22T09:10:30","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T09:10:30","slug":"poste-robotise-auto-adaptatif-de-gainage-de-vis-p105","status":"publish","type":"realisations","link":"https:\/\/www.asm-indus.com\/en\/realisations\/poste-robotise-auto-adaptatif-de-gainage-de-vis-p105\/","title":{"rendered":"Self-Adaptive Robotic Screw Sheathing Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Robotization of Screw Control and Sheathing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our client, an international aeronautics group in the South West, contacted ASM to robotize the control and coating of high-performance screws used in aeronautics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The main challenges of this project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The main challenge of this project was vision management. The interface developed by ASM had to allow operators to autonomously &quot;teach&quot; the machine to handle new screws. When using a new type of screw, the operators take a series of images with the vision system. Using a few parameters entered into the industrial PLC, the robot connected to the vision system is autonomous and can grasp the screw, wrap it, and then store it. It should be noted that the system developed by ASM handles screws either loose or arranged in perforated boxes as input.
